I have been vaping for many years and have used many devices. I am yet to find the perfect one, however the Uwell Typhos is the closest I am have found so far. I am strongly recommending this device to my friends.
It is a pod kit that comes with two pods that hold 5.5ml of e-liquid. This is a game changer, as 5.5ml is bigger than any pod kit to date. Most comparable pod kits are 2ml. The Uwell Havok, my vape kit for the last couple of years holds 4ml. The large tank means less refills and less time thinking about "how much juice do I have left".
The kit comes with two pods, a 0,6 ohm pod and a 0.8 ohm coil pod. Both pods are best suited for salt nic e-liquid. The 0.6 ohm seems to work better for me. Freebase e-liquid is thicker and works well too. In my opinion, 0.6 and 0.8 are best suited for salt nic. My favorite is the SOS Summer Punch. The replacement pods are inexpensive too
The internal battery is an impressive 2000mah. In this segment of pod kits, that is the largest I have seen to date. The Caliburn G4 is 1400mah, and my Havok is 1800mah. The less frequent charging of my device is greatly appreciated.
The size, weight and feel of the device are amazing. It is solid, fits well in hand or pocket. It is smaller than most disposable vapes. There is a feeling of quality and well built while holding this device. The weight is balanced throughout and you really need to hit it hard to knock over while standing.
One feature I like is that the placement of the usb port for charging is located on the side, near the bottom. Devices that have port on the bottom mean recharging while the device is on its side. Having you device charging standing up does make a difference and means little to no leaking of liquid that often occurs when devices are left on their sides.
The screen is simple and has all your data. You can have a simple theme or if you like bling, there are more flashy options. Air flow is a slider on the side. Wattage control is done quickly and easily through the menu.
Customers looking to save money on their vaping budget should consider this a great option. I can get 400+ puffs from a battery charge and 5.5ml lasts me 3/4 of a day. Doing the math, including using SOS Salt Nic E-liquid and assuming one new pod per week, I save 40% a month over vaping standard 20ml disposable vapes, including the Level X or Stlth Loop system.
Although not a blog about SOS 60ml Salt Nic E-liquid, 99% of disposable vapes, semi-disposable vapes (LVL X and Stlth Loop) are only available in 20mg/ml.
