Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check and use my points online?
- You can check your points balance online by clicking on the red icon on the bottom left of the screen that says "Reward" with a little gift icon. That will bring up a small pop-up with your points balance, along with coupons to redeem ranging from $5 to $20 off.
- To redeem your points, click on the coupon you would like to redeem (every 100 points is equivalent to a $5 coupon, it will only allow you to select the coupon if you have suffucient points), and then click "redeem".
- Once you have redeemed your coupon, the site will generate you a coupon code to use at checkout to apply your discount. Only one coupon code may be used at a time. If you redeem your points and do not use the coupon right away, the coupon code will remain valid for 6 months. You can check which coupon codes you have available by clicking "my coupons" within the popup.
What is the difference between salt nic and freebase e-liquid?
-
Freebase Nicotine
- Freebase is nicotine distilled to its purest form. It is alkaline, so it tends to have a harsher throat hit, especially at higher concentrations. That is why you most often see freebase in strengths 0mg, 1.5mg, 3mg, and 6mg.
- Freebase has a slower absorptifon rate, offering a more gradual hit of nicotine.
- Freebase e-liquids are best-suited for higher wattage sub-ohm devices, like box mods, because it is a thicker liquid that requires higher temperatures to vaporize. Freebase devices are generally direct-to-lung (DTL) style.
- Freebase generally offers large cloud production and a clean flavour profile due to having a lower nicotine concentration.
-
Salt Nicotine
- Salt nic is nicotine combined with an acid, most commonly benzoic acid. This lowers the pH level and makes it smoother. It commonly comes in higher strengths, like 20mg, because it does not get nearly as harsh as freebase, making it easier to increase the nicotine dose.
- Salt nic has a faster absorption rate, offering more immediate satisfaction. It is closer to the sensation of smoking a cigarette.
- Salt nic e-liquids are best suited for lower-wattage pod devices, with smaller coils. It is a thinner liquid, which can cause leaking issues in larger, high-wattage devices. Pod devices are generally mouth-to-lung (MTL) style.
- Salt nics can generally get higher flavour concentrations than freebase, so the flavour is often stronger. Higher concentrations of nicotine can occasionally impact flavour (depending on the juice).
